Livestock

 

 The livestock are at the very heart of Stranraer Show with 25 different sections to enter including beef cattle, dairy cattle, sheep, goats, Clydesdale horses and light horse and pony classes.

 

The 2026 Schedule (or list of premiums) will be available end of May 2026.

Online Entries will be available here. Payment must be made by bank transfer or cheque following submission of online entries.  

• Sheep & Beef Cattle – £2.00 per class
• Dairy Cattle – £4.00 per stall
• Clydesdale Horses – £2.00 per class
• Light Horses, Mountain & Moorland & Ponies – £5.00

Entries will only be accepted if full payment has been received. Closing date for postal entries will be 10th July, closing date for online entries will be 17^th July.

All exhibitors must be members of Stranraer & Rhins of Galloway Agricultural Society with annual membership costing £16.
