Livestock
The livestock are at the very heart of Stranraer Show with 25 different sections to enter including beef cattle, dairy cattle, sheep, goats, Clydesdale horses and light horse and pony classes.
The list of premiums or schedule is available here at the end of May each year and is also posted or emailed to the previous years exhibitors. If you are interested in entering for the first time and would like a schedule posted or emailed please get in touch.
All exhibitors must be members of Stranraer & Rhins of Galloway Agricultural Society with annual membership costing £15.
Entry Money is as follows;
- Sheep & Beef Cattle – £2.00 per class
- Dairy Cattle – £4.00 per stall
- Clydesdale Horses – £2.00 per class
- Light Horses, Mountain & Moorland & Ponies – £5.00
